Crisis Centre “Mum’s Home"

The Crisis Centre ‘Mum’s Home’ houses those who have nowhere else to go. Among them are pregnant women about to commit an abortion, young mothers who have lost their jobs or any means for survival, and have nowhere to live.

At the Crisis Centre “Mum’s Home” they’re helped to get out of trouble. Our lawyers, social workers and psychologists help them restore their documents, find a job, rent a place, improve their relationship with their relatives.

The Crisis Centre “Mum’s Home’ consists of a counselling centre and a shelter. In the former, women are helped by lawyers, psychologists and social workers. Here as well one can get children’s clothes, medicine, prams, cribs, and other vital things through the “Miloserdie” service.

10 women with their children can live at the Centre at one and the same time. ‘Mum’s Home’ provides women with help and support regardless of their age, nationality, citizenship or faith. Among those who have been helped by the Centre are women from Ukraine, Moldova, Tadzhikistan, Venezuela, and Congo.

The Crisis Centre “Mum’s Home’ has been operating in Moscow since February, 2012.

Over the last 5 years, some 180 mothers and 190 children have found good shelter here, more than 300 women got socio-psychological and spiritual help and support; more than 220 women got tickets to go back home, more than 6,000 families all over Russia received humanitarian help.
